We require the services of a Regional Liaison and Partners Services Manager. As a leader, this position is focused on managing critical response services within operational services. The incumbent will develop and maintain partnerships and liaison with provincial recovery structures to improve the recovery rate by gathering crime intelligence, supporting the company's strategic objectives.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Investigations and Compliance
- Ensure vehicle recovery for activated vehicles
- Address partnership, liaison, and recovery rate in the provincial action plan
- Meet compliance expectations promptly
- Standardise training across the province aligned with the National Head Office vision
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures within the province
- Deliver statistical reports with visual/graphical presentation before the last working day of each month
- Report accurately on provincial vehicle crime trends to stakeholders
- Implement action plans and procedures in a timely manner
- Report on vehicle crime prevention, combating, and investigation methods
- Suggest action plans to private and public stakeholders
- Deliver monthly and quarterly visit schedules
- Report on vehicle crime trends and intelligence gathered to stakeholders
- Manage queries, accounts, and deliver monthly reports to the manager
- Coordinate vehicle-related projects within the province
- Manage staff performance and development
- Conduct performance discussions timely and ensure development of subordinates
Minimum requirements - Qualifications and experience:
- National Diploma in Criminal Justice, Policing, or Criminology (NQF level 6)
- Knowledge of Vehicle Tracking systems, processes, and procedures
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience/above average knowledge in SAPS, SANDF, law enforcement agencies, or private security industry
- Understanding of the Criminal Procedure Act, Firearms Control Act, and vehicle-related crime in South Africa
- Clear criminal record; undergo annual polygraph screening
- Firearm, technical, tactical, and defensive driving assessments and training
- Valid Firearm Competency Certificate and Code EB Driver’s License
- Valid South African ID or card
- Willing to work shifts, overtime, and be deployed nationally with prior notice
- Willing to perform standby duties and operate in potentially dangerous environments according to SOPs
