Regional Manager: Financial Planning Services

Location: Menlyn

Salary: R85 000 ctc p.m. (negotiable)

Our client in the Insurance industry is looking for a Regional Manager: Financial Planning Services.

Job Description:
  1. Develop and implement effective business sales strategies
  2. Provide input on sales policies and procedures
  3. Recruit Sales Managers that meet FAIS requirements
  4. Support Sales Managers and para planners
  5. Oversee sales team to meet production targets
  6. Implement and maintain sales strategic plan for the region, to ensure that the region meets its set targets, i.e., in terms of Annual Premium Income (API), policy count, and product mix
  7. Manage and maintain budget to meet sales targets
  8. Oversee recruitment, development, and maintenance of distribution channels
  9. Oversee the training and development of Sales Managers
  10. Provide guidance and advice to Sales Managers
  11. Conduct market research and develop marketing plans
  12. Develop a strategic plan to identify potentially new markets
  13. Focus on relationship management with various stakeholders
  14. Achievement of targets and oversee business retention at sales level
  15. Provide input in sales meetings
  16. Produce sales progress reports
  17. Market intelligence and reporting
  18. Prepare reports and presentations
Qualifications:
  • Matric
  • Qualification recognized by FSB
  • RE Level 1: Representatives
  • RE Level 1: Key Individuals
Experience:
  • 3-5 years management experience
  • 2 years project management
  • 5 years in the insurance industry
  • Para planning
  • 1-2 years experience in taxation estate planning
  • 1-2 years experience in collective investment schemes

Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
