TB HIV Care (THC), established in 1929, is an internationally recognized nonprofit organization. We provide healthcare services throughout South Africa to the general population and communities at increased risk for HIV and TB, including adolescent girls and young women, sex workers, and people who use substances. Purpose of the Position:

The Regional Manager will lead a dynamic team providing direct service delivery and technical support across all aspects of the Care and Treatment (C&T) program. The role involves supporting and monitoring various program layers, including staff implementation and evaluation of health interventions. The Regional Manager will oversee the implementation of Operation Phuthuma, focusing on HIV and TB clinical cascade performance to ensure integrated screening, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and continuity of care, thereby strengthening the health system. Familiarity with PEPFAR (CDC) and National Department of Health initiatives is essential to balance funder and government priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. HIV and TB clinical management
  2. Implementation of organizational Quality Improvement (QI) methodology
  3. Managing projects/programs with a minimum of 5 years senior-level experience, preferably within the PEPFAR framework
  4. Drafting final project/program budgets, performance reports, and work plans for high-level stakeholders
  5. Experience in QI implementation and clinical facilitation is advantageous
  6. Ability to interpret and utilize complex programmatic data at a senior management level
  7. Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate to advanced)
  8. Valid registration with SANC or HPCSA
  9. Willingness to travel extensively as required
  10. Fluency in isiXhosa and English, or other South African languages
  11. Valid code 08 driver’s license
  12. Clear criminal record
