TB HIV Care is seeking a Regional Manager to lead teams in HIV and TB service delivery. This role involves overseeing program implementation and ensuring integrated health services across multiple levels, contributing to health system strengthening amidst evolving healthcare challenges. Candidates should have a solid background in public health and familiarity with relevant initiatives.
TB HIV Care (THC), in existence since 1929, is an internationally recognised non-profit organisation. We provide health care services throughout South Africa to both the general population and communities at increased risk for HIV and TB, including adolescent girls and young women, sex workers, and people who use drugs. THC offers a stimulating work environment and opportunities to work with leaders in the field of HIV and TB prevention and care. Our work culture is adaptable to the constantly evolving South African healthcare environment and is ideal for solution-driven team players interested in career development while working to connect people with care.
The Regional Manager will lead a dynamic team responsible for direct service delivery and technical support across all aspects of the Care and Treatment (C&T) programme. The role focuses on supporting and monitoring various layers of the program, including staff implementation and evaluation of health interventions. The regional manager will oversee and support the implementation of Operation Phuthuma, HIV and TB clinical cascade performance, ensuring integrated TB and HIV screening, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and continuity of care to strengthen the health system. The incumbent should be familiar with PEPFAR (CDC) and National Department of Health initiatives to balance funder and NDoH priorities.
