Job description

Planet is looking for a Regional Maintenance Support that will ensure that clubs meet brand, facility, and maintenance expectations as set by the company, and to assist Planet Fitness in reaching its goal of being the preferred health club destination. The role includes, but is not limited to, carrying out work, training, inspections, and reporting. Deadlines must be met at all times, and overtime could be required.

Operations
  1. Facility Maintenance turnaround time
  2. Equipment repair downtime
  3. Brand and Maintenance audit scores
Facilities:
  • Painting, patching, fixing doors & door handles, unblocking drains, silicone and finishing work, flooring repairs (vinyl, carpet, tiling), general maintenance (e.g., grouting, minor plumbing, HVAC services, HVAC inspections, fault finding), pool maintenance, minor in-house projects set out by NOPS/NFMM
Equipment Maintenance:
  • Part replacement, equipment calibration, quality control, cleanliness, ensuring Club tech is up to date with daily and weekly services and checks, and admin is accurate and legitimate, along with general maintenance
Administration
  • Stay up to date with all maintenance-related matters and communicate effectively
  • Keep all documents filed:
    • Daily club walkthroughs
    • Equipment daily/weekly checklists
    • Weekly facility checklists
    • Weekly service and repair reports
    • Weekly tool count
    • Daily generator inspections
    • Monthly facility and maintenance assessment with Club/Ops manager
    • Ensure job cards are completed, signed, and parts/materials documented
    • Update club Facility, Pool, and Plant dashboards after each visit
    • Update club equipment dashboard after each visit
Staff
  • Employee Development:
    • Provide training on equipment based on weaknesses identified during monthly maintenance audits
    • Develop club techs and include potential future technicians
    • Identify training needs based on quarterly national audits and work towards improving audit scores
Financial
  • Asset Management:
    • Manage company vehicle and contents responsibly
    • Report vehicle faults and schedule services
    • Ensure all purchase slips are processed and claims submitted according to company policy
