Placements24 is seeking a Regional Logistics Specialist based in East London to manage the efficient delivery of goods across the Eastern Cape. You will coordinate deliveries, monitor routes, and ensure timely, safe arrivals while maintaining strong customer service.

The ideal candidate has a valid Code 10 (C1) or higher with PrDP, at least 3 years in logistics driving, and solid knowledge of East London routes. A clean driving record and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience in logistics or delivery.
• Comprehensive knowledge of routes within East London and the surrounding Eastern Cape areas.

• Ability to handle physical demands related to loading and unloading goods.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various destinations within the Eastern Cape region.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
• Manage the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery and incident reports.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize routes and delivery schedules.
• Uphold all traffic laws and company safety policies during operations.
