Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Regional Goods Transporter to support distribution in and around Polokwane. You will transport goods across the Limpopo region, ensuring timely delivery and secure cargo handling.

The role requires a Code 10 license with PrDP, at least 3 years of regional driving experience, and a strong safety record. You will perform vehicle inspections, loading, logging deliveries, and maintain open communication with dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 10 (C1) or higher driver's license with a valid PrDP.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in regional transport.
• Strong knowledge of routes within Polokwane and the wider Limpopo province.
• Clean driving record with a focus on safety.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
• Good time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently across the Limpopo region.
• Perform meticulous pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Ensure correct loading and securement of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proof of delivery.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status and any potential delays.
• Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies.
