The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of HGV experience, a clean driving record, and knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures. This full-time role requires independence and strong time management, with company support for ongoing training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid professional driver's license (Code 14/EC with PDP).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience driving HGVs.
• A clean driving record with no major violations.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform loading/unloading tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport various types of goods, ensuring proper loading, securing, and timely delivery.
• Perform routine checks on the vehicle, including brakes, tires, lights, and engine systems, reporting issues.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance documentation.
• Adhere to strict schedules while maintaining flexibility for route adjustments.
• Ensure all cargo is handled with care and delivered in optimal condition.
