Job description

Our client is currently seeking a Regional HR Manager who will be responsible for translating the people strategy into practical steps for the region. The candidate must act as a trusted advisor and make strategic and functional contributions to the region and key client groups.

Qualification:

Honours Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.

SABPP.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. 10-12 years relevant experience, of which 5 years were in a middle HR management position.
  2. Pension / Provident Fund regulations.
  3. Understanding of Civil Engineering and Building Bargaining Councils.
  4. Thorough knowledge, understanding, and application of Human Resources best practices.
  5. Up-to-date in-depth knowledge of HR practices as well as company policies, processes, and systems, along with extensive understanding of business and the company's operations.
  6. Extensive knowledge of labour-related legislation and its applications.
  7. Extensive labour relations experience with industrial action and strike management.
  8. Remuneration practices.
  9. Experience in dealing with Unions / Councils, etc.
  10. Sage 300 People.
  11. Presentation and facilitation skills.
  12. Change management skills.
  13. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  14. Analytical skills.
