Job Purpose

The Regional Head of Finance is responsible for defining and managing the execution of finance and operations strategies for PSI SBU SA and African countries, ensuring compliance with global and local requirements, legislation, and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
  • Develop and execute finance and operations strategies aligned with global and local requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and operational controls.
  • Lead quarterly and annual business planning processes.
  • Manage P&L and operational costs, oversee financial reporting, and ensure asset management.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Lead the finance function across multiple countries, establishing strategic relationships and influencing organizational direction.
  • Coach and develop finance teams, ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Operational Excellence
  • Implement finance and operations directives, liaising with global support functions.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure policy adherence.
Other Responsibilities
  • Participate in leadership discussions, monitor service levels, and develop external relationships.
  • Travel internationally as required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Honours Degree in Financial/Management Accounting, CA(SA)/CMA(SA), with a Masters or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years finance and operations management experience, with 5+ years in senior roles.
  • Experience in FMCG or healthcare industry essential.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: ~R1,000,000 plus benefits, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
