The Regional Head will be responsible for:
- Commercial activities for the South African office.
- Sales strategy recommendations to guide sales activities of accounts.
- Developing an integral sales plan for South(ern) Africa.
- Supporting global account teams in developing South African branches of global customers.
- Expanding the customer network sustainably connected to the organization.
- Creating account and prospect plans to increase sales.
- Sales contracting and negotiation.
- Providing customer solutions and recommendations for customer problems.
- Utilizing customer and market information for an integral market approach.
- Ensuring sales performance information is available to involved parties.
- Managing the South African office operations, including admin, finance, tax, legal, and HR.
- Owning the financial annual plan of the SA Sales Office.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and group policies.
- Managing relationships and contracts with service providers, accountants, and payroll providers.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong relationships within the automotive OEM sector are preferred.
- Knowledge of marketing and sales, with a Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Thinking skills at Master’s Degree level.
- Knowledge of steel technology and market/customer developments.
- Experience in B2B sales management and resource planning.
