The Regional Head will be responsible for :
Commercial activities for the South African office
- Sales strategy recommendations, to give direction to the sales activities of the accounts.
- Integral Sales Plan for South(ern) Africa
- Supporting Global account teams with developing South African branches of global customers
- Customer network, to expand the network / customers that are sustainably connected to organisation
- Account and Prospects plans, to increase sales to the various customers.
- Sales contracting and negotiation.
- Customer solutions, to introduce appropriate recommendations for customer problems.
- Market approach proposals, to utilise customer and market information for an integral market approach.
- Sales information, to ensure information about the sales performance is available to parties involved.
- Account Team management
General South African office Operations Management
- Runs the day-to-day operations of the SA Sales office (admin, finance, tax, legal, HR).
- Owns the financial annual plan of the SA Sales Office
- Compliance by the SA Sales Office with applicable laws and internal group policies
- All Human Resource activities for the South African office
- Manage the relationship and contracts with service providers, accountant and payroll provider
The Successful Applicant
A successful Regional Head should have
- Ideally you will have strong relationships within the automotive OEM sector
- Knowledge of marketing and sales at Master's Degree about important sales contracts with customers.
- Degree - minimum Bachelor's (preferably Master's), preferably in Technical, Business, or Economic field. Thinking skills must be Master's Degree level.
- Knowledge of steel technology and of relevant developments in the market and at customers.
- Experienced in B2B sales management and in planning and managing resources
