Regional Fleet Manager job vacancy in Port Elizabeth.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Regional Fleet Manager to oversee and manage fleet operations across the Eastern Cape region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient fleet utilization, maintaining strong supplier relationships, managing compliance, and supporting operational excellence across multiple sites.

Salary: R23 000 – R26 000 per month plus Petrol Card / Car Allowance OR Company Vehicle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage fleet operations within the Eastern Cape region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, service providers, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance, and operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and road safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reporting on fleet performance.
• Implement strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, licensing, and insurance requirements.
• Provide leadership and support to regional operational teams.
• Travel regularly within the Eastern Cape to monitor and support fleet activities.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) – required.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Fleet Management, or Transport Management (advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fleet management or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations, maintenance, and compliance requirements.
• Computer literacy (MS Office & fleet management systems).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the Eastern Cape.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
