Overview : An established manufacturer of specialised agrochemicals is seeking a senior finance professional responsible for providing financial and operational analysis, ensuring accurate reporting, managing payments and collections, and overseeing internal controls for the Sub Region.

Minimum requirements :

  • Relevant tertiary qualification; CA (SA) or CIMA preferred
  • MBA advantageous
  • At least 15 years’ experience in Finance
  • Experience with commercial interactions and key customers
  • Knowledge of the AgChem Business is advantageous
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans (Read, Write, Speak)

Key responsibilities :

  • Deliver timely and accurate financial results and reports
  • Monitor gross margin, expenses, debtor management, and assets
  • Oversee creditor payments, accounts payable KPIs, and credit risk mitigation
  • Conduct trend analysis, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Perform detailed analysis of financial data including working capital, EBITDA, and P&L
  • Participate in strategic planning, negotiations, and audits
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls
  • Lead IT system integration for reporting efficiency
  • Manage internal audits, staff development, and HR policies
  • Handle ad hoc projects, budgeting, and stakeholder reporting
