Job summary

Honey Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Regional Finance Manager to support asset-level decision-making and portfolio optimisation for a national property investment business. The role operates in the Greater Gauteng region and interfaces with Property Management, Leasing and Head Office teams.

The successful candidate will analyse performance, model scenarios, and provide commercial insight to boost income and asset value.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional study in accounting, finance or property related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years in property finance, asset management or related commercial property.
• Strong understanding of property financial performance and asset-level analysis.
• Advanced MS Excel skills are essential.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
• Experience preparing management reports and senior-level presentations.
• Excellent commercial judgement and ability to interpret financial information beyond the numbers.
• Stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to assets within Greater Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Analyse asset-level financial and operational performance against budgets, forecasts and feasibilities.
• Identify underperformance, risks, opportunities, cost inefficiencies and income leakage.
• Monitor vacancies, lease expiries and income sustainability across the regional portfolio.
• Develop and track corrective actions to improve portfolio performance.
• Prepare meaningful performance commentary and recommendations for regional management.
• Interpret management accounts and translate financial information into commercial insights.
• Prepare portfolio dashboards and management reporting packs.
• Support Capex planning, feasibility studies and ROI analyses.
• Provide financial input into asset strategies and investment memos.
• Work with Leasing, Property Management and Finance to optimise income and asset value.
