Overall purpose of the role

The Regional Finance Administrator will assist and support the regional finance team to provide, maintain, enhance, and improve finance services in their areas of responsibility in a current, relevant and accurate manner.

Professional/Tertiary

An accounting qualification or relevant work experience will be preferred.

Other Requirements
  1. Must have Oracle/Synchro practice management experience (not negotiable)
  2. Advanced MS Excel, Word and Teams experience.
  3. Experience in a professional services finance team.

Computerised accounting experience, minimum 2+ years.

  1. Process invoices and credit notes (project and miscellaneous), including the processing of recovery invoices and submitting them to the relevant mailboxes.
  2. Assist with unallocated cash receipts and withholding tax certificates.
  3. Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by senior Finance BU managers.

  1. Open and maintain indirect projects.
  2. Debtor administration and lock-up month-end processes including distributing reports, following up on unbilled WIP and invoices approaching 180 days, clearing exception reports.
  3. Report and follow up on exceptions and issues identified in the invoice and credit note and lockup management process.

  3. Identify process inefficiencies and gaps that may hinder the invoicing and credit note process and find ways to streamline or enhance these processes.
  4. Ensure and adhere that deadlines are met.
