Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star? The successful incumbent will be responsible for driving vehicles to move goods from one point to another in an efficient, safe, and cost-effective manner.

The driver is responsible for the vehicle allocated to him and also for the load, from the time the vehicle is loaded until the goods are offloaded at the destination and the vehicle returns to the depot. The driver is responsible for all relevant documentation and for ensuring that the relevant signatures, where required, are obtained. Ensure that there is compliance with all policies and procedures and strict adherence to internal controls. All ad-hoc tasks as requested by Management are timeously and diligently completed.

The driver must drive in a courteous and professional manner with due respect to all road users. The driver must bear in mind at all times that they are a direct reflection of Racing Distribution and Hollywoodbets.

A Bonus To Have:

• 3 years driving experience.

• Drivers licence.

What You'll Do For The Brand:

1. Achieve and sustain driver score targets as predefined.
2. Ensure that any problems that do occur are reported immediately and are also reported on the trip sheet.
3. Carry out pre on-route and post-trip roadworthy inspections using the prescribed forms and report any defects.
4. Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the vehicle at all times.
5. Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and delivered/collected.
6. Be present at loading and offloading of vehicles to monitor the condition of goods and documentation.
7. Report any losses or damage to goods to the Supervisor.
8. Contact the home depot if delayed for longer than 30 minutes.
9. Complete all trips within the scheduled times as instructed by the supervisor/controllers.
10. In the event of an accident, ensure the incident form is completed and reported to SAPS.

People:

1. Complete advanced driver training and driver courtesy training on the road.
2. Submit claims, sick leave, annual leave, and overtime in a timely manner.
3. Refrain from being behind the wheel when intoxicated (drugs/alcohol).
4. Maintain % compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Report any suspicion of misconduct using the Hotline.
6. Do not transport passengers or conduct private courier services without approval.

The incumbent must always have the following documents in his possession at all times:

• Valid drivers licence.
• Valid PRDP.
• Valid passport documents where necessary.
