Job description

Afrizan People Intelligence is looking for two strategic and results-driven Account Managers to take ownership of client relationships, grow our footprint in the market, and ensure seamless Temporary Employment Services (TES) operations.

One position is available at our Cape Town branch, and the other at our Johannesburg head office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Client Management: Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and business forums. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships, becoming a trusted advisor. Develop and implement tailored people-based solutions to drive client success. Keep a pulse on industry trends and market intelligence to remain ahead of the curve.
  2. Account & Operations Management: Ensure smooth and compliant TES operations aligned with the Labour Relations Act (LRA) and Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA). Manage the full TES placement process, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and assignees. Oversee invoicing, payment follow-ups, and contract administration to maintain operational efficiency. Compile and submit accurate weekly, biweekly, and monthly reports, including sales activity, incident, and headcount reports.
  3. Assignee & Talent Management: Act as a mentor and coach for active and new assignees and cadets on client sites. Address HR, IR, and ER queries promptly and prepare all necessary documentation. Ensure exceptional service delivery, responding to client and assignee queries with urgency and precision.

What You Need to Succeed:

  1. Core Competencies: Strong business development and client relationship management skills. Expertise in TES compliance, labour laws, and workforce management. Proven ability to analyse market trends and adapt strategies accordingly. High-level organisational and execution capabilities. Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  2. Qualifications & Experience: Matric + Relevant Degree. Experience in TES account management within a fast-paced environment. Strong working knowledge of LRA & BCEA with a focus on compliance.
