CAREER OPPORTUNITY

A career opportunity for a Regional Assistant has become available at Santam, Brokers Services North division, based in the Polokwane branch, Limpopo.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

This role focuses on supporting the Regional Manager for Limpopo, providing administrative assistance and support to manage day-to-day activities within the region in line with regional targets. The role will also extend to support a dedicated Relationship Manager in managing their portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Regional Managers in daily activities
  • Pulling and consolidating regional statistics and reports
  • Scheduling and arranging broker and team meetings
  • Diary management
  • Preparing reports, collecting, and analyzing information
  • Data analysis and management information reporting
  • Taking and distributing minutes
  • Account payments (JDE), office orders, and processing
  • Record keeping
  • Supporting a Relationship Manager in handling broker and internal queries, escalations, CRM support, and diary management

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric
  • A 3-year tertiary qualification (advantageous)
  • 2 years’ experience in office administration
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Professional orientation and good interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in minute-taking
