CAREER OPPORTUNITY


A career opportunity for a Regional Assistant has become available at Santam, Brokers Services North division, based in Polokwane branch, Limpopo.


WHAT WILL YOU DO?


This role focuses on supporting the Regional Manager for Limpopo, providing administrative assistance and support to the region on daily activities to manage their portfolios in line with regional targets. It will also extend to supporting a dedicated Relationship Manager in managing their portfolio.


Key Responsibilities


  • Supporting the Regional Managers in daily activities
  • Assisting with pulling and consolidating regional statistics and reports
  • Scheduling and arranging broker and team meetings
  • Diary management
  • Preparing reports, collecting, and analyzing information
  • Data analysis and management information reporting
  • Taking and distributing minutes
  • Handling account payments (JDE), office orders, and processing
  • Record keeping
  • Providing support to a Relationship Manager, including handling queries, escalations, CRM support, and diary management

Qualifications and Experience


  • Matric
  • A 3-year tertiary qualification (advantageous)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in office administration
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Professional orientation and good interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in minute taking
