Placements24 is seeking an experienced Regional Transport Driver in Mahikeng to transport agricultural products across the region, ensuring safe loading, temperature control where needed, and timely deliveries. You will perform vehicle inspections and maintain compliance with transport regulations while coordinating with dispatch and farm contacts.

Qualifications

• Valid professional driver’s license (Code 10 or higher).
• Proven experience as a transport driver, preferably handling agricultural products.
• Knowledge of safe handling and transport procedures for produce.
• Ability to operate across varied terrain and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport agricultural products across the region.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and temperature control (if applicable) of goods.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, including permits or records for produce.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and farm contacts regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
