Job description

Job Title: Refrigeration Technician

Red Ember Recruiting is looking for a Refrigeration Technician to join a dynamic company either in Cape Town or Durban.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment.
2. Attend to refrigeration callouts within set timeframes.
3. Faultfinding and repairs on refrigeration equipment.
4. Manage car stock to ensure minimal variances and sufficient stock to deliver quality service.
5. Complete all administrative documents when stock is returned or issued to team members.
6. Submit job cards daily.
7. Update outlet record boards as prescribed.
8. Ensure vehicle inspections are conducted weekly and submitted to the Operations Administrators.

Requirements:

• Matric qualification.
• Refrigeration qualification with Trade Test.
• Valid driver's license.
• Gas handling license (preferred).
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• 1-2 years of refrigeration experience.
