Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of Refrigeration Operator reporting to the Refrigeration Superintendent. The positions will be based in Delmas .

PURPOSE OF THE JOB :

Responsible to operate the Refrigeration plant main water supply and boreholes as well as servicing and maintaining cold rooms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Ensure an effective availability of Refrigeration services and all outside plant rooms.

Inspecting maintaining and operating Refrigeration cold store equipment and freezing tunnels as well as all refrigeration equipment.

Safety and Housekeeping

Air compressor operation and inspections.

Main water supply tanks and borehole operations and inspections .

REQUIREMENTS :

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

Be in possession of Ammonia Certificate.

Must be registered with SAQCCG.

Person with experience will do 3 months on the job training.

Previous food experience will be advantageous.
