Job description

RPO Recruitments client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Refinery Maintenance Superintendent to join their team in Phalaborwa Limpopo.

Responsibilities:

  1. Setting up strategic equipment and plant replacement programs to ensure both continue to operate at or above designed levels of productivity.
  2. Ensuring continuous improvement initiatives are driven to ensure cost reduction, productivity/efficiency improvements, and improved safety standards.
  3. Continuous review of maintenance strategies.
  4. Implementation of efficient maintenance strategies.
  5. Training and Development of subordinates.
  6. Ensuring that the section develops an interdependent culture of safety, ensuring that work complies with existing safety legislation and is in full compliance with Palabora standards.
  7. Managing Operating and Capital budgets for the section.
  8. Developing and managing a five-year business plan for the section.

Requirements:

  1. Grade 12
  2. Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  3. GCC Mines & Works
  4. 5 years experience as a qualified GCC Engineer
  5. 5 years Refinery Maintenance experience

  1. Salary: R1.5Mil / yr - R1.7Mil / yr (salary negotiable)
