Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to hire a dynamic and results-driven Recruitment Specialist to join our client's HR team based in Kempton Park.
With over employees across multiple regions, we are looking for a recruitment professional who is proactive, knowledgeable, and able to headhunt top talent from across industries.
This role will be responsible for driving the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to attracting, sourcing, and hiring exceptional candidates.
You will play a key role in building a strong workforce that aligns with the company's growth and goals.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in industry best practices for recruitment, particularly in headhunting and talent acquisition.
You should be well-versed in recruitment technologies, have an excellent network of potential candidates, and stay up-to-date on market trends and hiring practices.
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Head Hunting: Proactively identify, source, and headhunt high-quality candidates for critical and hard-to-fill roles across various departments.
- Build and maintain an extensive network of industry contacts, potential candidates, and recruitment agencies.
- Use a variety of sourcing strategies including social media, headhunting, job boards, employee referrals, and industry-specific platforms.
- Develop strong relationships with hiring managers to understand business needs and key competencies required for various roles.
- Recruitment Process Management: Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate onboarding, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements, candidate profiles, and cultural fit for the organization.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Industry Best Practices & Standards: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry recruitment trends, talent acquisition best practices, and changes in labor laws.
- Ensure the recruitment process adheres to legal and ethical standards, maintaining compliance with all employment laws.
- Continuously improve recruitment strategies to ensure the company attracts and hires top talent in a competitive market.
- Employer Branding: Work closely with the marketing and HR teams to develop and maintain a strong employer brand that attracts top talent.
- Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the company as an employer of choice.
- Develop engaging content for job postings and other recruitment marketing efforts to attract high-quality candidates.
- Candidate Experience & Onboarding: Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey, ensuring prompt communication, feedback, and a positive impression of the company.
- Ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding, coordinating with HR teams to prepare new hires for success in their roles.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire.
- Analyze and report on sourcing effectiveness, candidate pipeline status, and recruitment trends.
- Use data insights to optimize recruitment strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with HR teams, hiring managers, and department heads to assess staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Partner with senior leadership to support high-level recruitment for executive and strategic positions.
- Act as a trusted advisor for managers and team leaders in developing job descriptions, candidate selection criteria, and compensation packages.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a large-scale or corporate environment.
- Proven experience in headhunting and sourcing for senior and niche roles.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit across various industries and levels, from entry-level positions to executive-level roles.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment software (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Jobvite, or similar platforms) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Skills: In-depth understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate evaluation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple recruitment projects.
- Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to assess both technical skills and cultural fit.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, particularly for high-level candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt to changing recruitment needs.
