Introduction

The Recruitment Officer is responsible for the full recruitment and selection function for Sorbet nationally.

Job Description

  • Coordinate citizen requests and placements for existing stores
  • Assist in scheduling interviews (existing stores)
  • Recruitment - New Stores
  • Attend activity meetings for new stores / change of ownership
  • Schedule and attend One on One meetings for new stores / change of ownership
  • Assist new FP in conducting and scheduling interviews
  • Coordinate & schedule supplier training for new citizens - Notify: Suppliers / Citizens & FP
  • Identify & form partnerships / relationships with reputable colleges
  • Work with colleges / principles to set training dates for modules such as Sorbet Brand Awareness, Mani & Pedi, Skincare Training (annually)
  • Coordinate learner assessments and store placements with Recruiters
  • Develop & update administrative documents - registers, feedback forms
  • Handle upgrade requests and provide feedback within 72 hours
  • Assign stores / citizens to departments monthly
  • Perform upgrade assessments
  • Follow up on citizen feedback and update LMS monthly
  • Continuous onboarding and updating of citizen details on LMS
  • Manage social media content for recruitment (social media pages, Facebook career page)
  • Complete WSP/SDL reports monthly and annually
  • Assist with management of careers email and Facebook recruitment page
  • Support regional recruiters and backup assessor for the inland beauty division
  • Work with National Operations Manager on standardising thresholds annually
  • Compile quarterly reports on Citizen Numbers, Training & Recruitment Fees
  • Update and develop supporting documents and SOPs annually

Technical Skills & Qualifications
