Introduction
The Recruitment Officer is responsible for the full recruitment and selection function for Sorbet nationally.
Job Description
- Coordinate citizen requests and placements for existing stores
- Assist in scheduling interviews (existing stores)
- Recruitment - New Stores
- Attend activity meetings for new stores / change of ownership
- Schedule and attend One on One meetings for new stores / change of ownership
- Assist new FP in conducting and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate & schedule supplier training for new citizens - Notify: Suppliers / Citizens & FP
- Identify & form partnerships / relationships with reputable colleges
- Work with colleges / principles to set training dates for modules such as Sorbet Brand Awareness, Mani & Pedi, Skincare Training (annually)
- Coordinate learner assessments and store placements with Recruiters
- Develop & update administrative documents - registers, feedback forms
- Handle upgrade requests and provide feedback within 72 hours
- Assign stores / citizens to departments monthly
- Perform upgrade assessments
- Follow up on citizen feedback and update LMS monthly
- Continuous onboarding and updating of citizen details on LMS
- Manage social media content for recruitment (social media pages, Facebook career page)
- Complete WSP/SDL reports monthly and annually
- Assist with management of careers email and Facebook recruitment page
- Support regional recruiters and backup assessor for the inland beauty division
- Work with National Operations Manager on standardising thresholds annually
- Compile quarterly reports on Citizen Numbers, Training & Recruitment Fees
- Update and develop supporting documents and SOPs annually
Minimum Requirements
Job Knowledge
- Self-directed and able to work independently
- Exceptional communication skills (spoken, telephonic, written)
- Organised and systematic
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Computer literate (Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet Explorer)
- Degree/Diploma in Management/Retail
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
