The Recruitment Consultant will own the day-to-day recruitment process to enable the business to solve all staffing requirements, making talent acquisition a strategic competitive advantage for the operation. Working with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and HC Team in aligning to and implementing the Netstar Recruitment Framework and Policy to achieve the desired results for the operation. This role will work closely with relevant stakeholders whilst contributing to the resourcing needs and long term goals of operation’s needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively coordinate and action the end-to-end recruitment activities for the operation.
  • Completing the assigned day-to-day workload, ensuring that priority and efficiencies are achieved to optimize the service delivered against department deliverables and KPI’s.
  • Follow industry best practice and identify opportunities for Netstar to remain competitive in the current market to ensure we can attract the best talent and build an ongoing pipeline for future vacancies
  • Maintain an up to date working knowledge of our ICT and Digital Transformation industry to provide advice and guidance to relevant stakeholders, including Hiring Managers and the HC Team
  • Support Netstar organisational structure and hiring needs by developing professionally written, high quality position job adverts in line with the Hiring Manager and the HC Team and adhere to classification requirements and meet the rules of contemporary best practice.
  • Contribute to the review and implementation of policies and procedures related to the functional area, to meet legislative, organisational, and operational efficiency needs, whilst identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in line with operational recruitment excellence and quality assurance • Work cooperatively and collaboratively with other Netstar Human Capital colleagues to deliver high quality, consistent services to internal and external stakeholders
  • Champion the organization's vision and values through leading by example in operational excellence, professional behaviour, and high standards of work.
  • Build a strong employer brand by ensuring the experience delivered to our clients and candidates is underpinned by an excellence in customer service without compromising key selection criteria of the vacancies
  • Assist with the Monthly and ad hoc recruitment reporting on the age of the vacancy, time to fill the vacancy, and all other related recruitment dashboards
  • Responsible for the processes of all recruiting activity in the operation ensuring that recruitment is accurately represented at any point in time, to track recruiting efficacy across the recruiting workflow. This may involve the following: Creating Job Requisition to advertise vacancies, track and manage approval for quick turnaround times, move candidates through the various recruitment stages in real time, directing external candidates (Sourced/referred) to apply via the system, manage the candidate through the process, facilitate the actions required for any testing, documentation, etc that may be required, contract recruiting activities, take part in the onboarding of new hires to ensure a seamless transition into the business.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and other stakeholders on any recruitment campaigns • Ensure maximum participation in HC meetings, committees, and forums to achieve economies of scale relating to recruitment activities.
  • Drive utilization of the HR Information System or Recruitment Platforms within the organisation and lead the ownership of the System within the team and operation.
  • Responsible for ensuring Data quality on all systems in the organisation that are applicable to your functional area Governance and risk management
  • Implement Service Level Agreements and Standard Operating Procedures for strategic HC partnership and service delivery aligned to the Netstar framework.
  • Input into business operations risk, through continuous internal and external monitoring of business impact, as well as changes in stakeholder needs.
  • Provide feedback to the relevant stakeholders within the HC Team to initiate improvement projects that will increase profits, improve efficiencies, or protect against risks in the function.
  • Establish and maintain the highest ethical standard in employment practices, including compliance with all statutory requirements. External Parties and Relationship Management
  • Manage relationships with operational Heads and Business partners and act as a trusted advisor

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Educational Qualifications:

  • National Diploma in Human Resources or any relevant qualification
  • HR Information Systems and Recruitment Platforms certification Years of Experience • 3-5 years of progressive, professional experience with an emphasis in Recruitment
  • 3 years of deep knowledge of researching and head-hunting skills in the open market
  • 3 years’ experience working with Recruitment Agencies
  • 3 years' experience in the ICT and telecommunication industry Other requirements
  • Detail orientation, proven organisational skills and high degree of accuracy.
  • Proven track record of internal and external stakeholder management in the recruitment space
  • Working knowledge of relevant local labour legislation.
  • Practical knowledge of remuneration
  • Good knowledge of HC systems.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to maintain supreme levels of ethical behaviour and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Embedded and deep knowledge of the IT Services industry with key customer relationship • Ability to work within a high-performance team culture
