Job Summary : The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for sourcing, assessing, and placing qualified healthcare professionals in various settings. This role involves managing the entire recruitment process, maintaining strong relationships with candidates and clients, and ensuring compliance and quality standards. The Consultant will also handle payroll queries, manage shift bookings and cancellations, and contribute to business development.

Responsibilities :

  1. Talent Sourcing : Proactively source candidates via job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals. Maintain a pipeline of nursing professionals, use creative sourcing techniques, update candidate databases, monitor pipeline health, and support compliance documentation collection.
  2. Candidate Engagement : Build relationships with candidates, provide detailed role and process information, ensure a positive experience, update availability, and resolve queries proactively.
  3. Candidate Assessment, Screening, and Onboarding : Conduct interviews, reference checks, verify qualifications, facilitate onboarding, and ensure compliance.
  4. Market Research : Stay informed on healthcare trends, conduct market research, and provide insights to inform recruitment strategies.
  5. Administration : Keep accurate records of recruitment activities, ensure timely administrative tasks, and update CRM systems daily.
  6. Performance Management : Achieve individual SLAs and targets, monitor performance metrics, and participate in reviews.
  7. Internal Collaboration : Collaborate with team members and departments, share insights, and participate in team activities.
  8. Client and Stakeholder Management : Develop strong client relationships, communicate regularly, and act as a trusted advisor.
  9. Payroll Queries : Assist with payroll issues, liaise with payroll department, and ensure accurate processing.
  10. Booking and Cancellation of Shifts : Manage shift bookings and cancellations, coordinate with clients and candidates, and maintain accurate records.

Requirements :

  • Proven Experience : Extensive healthcare recruitment experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business development and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Result-Driven : Motivated to exceed targets and provide excellent candidate and client service.
  • Highly organized with effective workload prioritization.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and open to feedback.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Leadership Skills : Experience in coaching and developing team members.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong skills to find effective solutions quickly.
