Recruitment and Administrative Coordinator

Salary: R30K - R35K CTC p.m. (depending on experience)
Our client is a producer, packer, and exporter of quality citrus fruit located in the Citrusdal Valley. We are seeking a Recruitment and Administrative Coordinator to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities include developing and implementing an effective recruitment and onboarding strategy to source skilled candidates that are aligned to our company culture. The role will form part of the Human Resources team and will report to the Head of People Practices in the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with relevant managers to understandthe requirements and responsibilities of openpositions.
- Craft Job Advertisements for open vacancies and ensure they are posted on all relevant platforms.
- Consult with various recruitment service providers.
- Screen applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' skills,experience, and cultural fit.
- Schedule interviews, psychometric assessments andconduct reference checks.
- Manage candidate communications to ensure apositive candidate experience.
- Assist with relocation and housing administration.
- Responsible for coordinating employee inductionand onboarding, ensuring seamless integration.
- Maintain a database of future potential candidates.
- Responsible for monthly recruitment report.
- Assist in developing and maintaining jobdescriptions.
- Support the rest of the People Practices team withother administrative tasks.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the HumanResources field.
- Relevant tertiary qualification: Bachelor’s degree inhuman resources, business, or a related field.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- High integrity and efficiency with regards to taskmanagement and task completion.
- Good reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamwith good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, servant leadership attitude.
- Familiarity with social media platforms andprofessional networks (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Excellent computer skills including MS Teams, Outlookand database management on Excel.
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist withproficiency in applicant tracking systems and otherrecruitment software will be advantageous.
