Job Description
We are seeking a Recruiter 2 to join our DSSM Talent Acquisition team at IQVIA. This is a fully remote opportunity based anywhere in South Africa, but if you prefer a hybrid work arrangement, working in our offices is also an option.

Job Overview
Support the continuous improvement of the staffing function through development and implementation for all staffing programs in an assigned business unit/department, primarily in one geography. With guidance, conduct recruiting activity for management teams as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing and attracting top talent in Statistical Programming, Data Management and Biostatistics
  2. Building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline.
  3. Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide strategic recruitment solutions.
  4. Conducting interviews and assessments to identify the best fit for our team.
Essential Functions
  1. Work with management in assigned service areas, business units or departments to source, select and hire qualified candidates to fill vacant positions using cost-effective techniques and in accordance with company policies, procedures, and processes.
  2. Write job postings to post and advertise positions.
  3. Review applications and conduct interviews to obtain information regarding applicants' work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
  4. Create and coordinate job advertising in various media. Attend job fairs and develop and maintain contacts with colleges, universities, alumni groups, and other organizations to identify potential applicants.
  5. Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
  6. Utilize Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
  7. Meet with functional business leaders and executive management, as required, to discuss and establish staffing objectives and ensure they are achieved.
  8. Assist with training line management on recruiting, interviewing, and the selection process as required.
  9. Support a diverse workforce and comply with local and regional hiring guidelines and procedures, particularly for applicant tracking.
  10. Keep abreast of market trends and demands impacting the company’s ability to attract competitive candidates; coordinate with the compensation team on salary offer considerations and equity concerns.
  11. May be responsible for meeting established financial targets and assisting with business development activities depending on business line.
Qualifications
  1. Previous Life Sciences recruitment experience preferably in Clinical Research
  2. 1 year experience within a staffing function as a recruiter or combination of recruiter and specialist experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  3. Sound knowledge of legislation in the recruiting process
  4. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  6. Strong attention to detail
  7. Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills
  8. Good understanding and awareness of the commercial environment and market trends
  9. Good customer service skills
  10. Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality
  11. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and plan routine activities
  12. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients
