Role: Recruiter

Department: HR

Reports To: Recruitment Manager and Group HR Director

Type: Full-time/Permanent

IOEC is seeking to hire a driven and hardworking recruiter to assist with our fast paced recruiting activities for local and international teams. You will be responsible for posting job applications online, managing pipelines of candidates, examining résumés, screening potential candidates, presenting candidates and setting up interviews, assessments and conducting references. You will work with the recruitment team and assist with all recruiting-related duties.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek to learn and understand the hiring needs of the business thoroughly.
  • Draft job specifications and coordinate approvals for posting and sharing online and with agency partners.
  • Post and share job applications on different channels as per strategy for the role/s.
  • Actively source candidates.
  • Review all channels for applications to screen and shortlist into a pipeline of viable applicants per role.
  • Conducting initial phone and/or online screens.
  • Make CV submissions including the synopsis on the candidate’s suitability for the role/s.
  • Coordinate feedback with internal teams, partners and candidates. Update activities on report.
  • Coordinate internal team schedules and candidate schedules to set up interviews.
  • Coordinate and communicate assessment results.
  • Contact candidate employment references and verify education requirements.
  • Save and organise documents according to online system requirements.
  • Manage the CV database.
  • Offer formulation, coordination and approval.
  • Preparing online file of candidate documents for HR Handover.
  • Communication of start date to HR, relevant department.
  • Provide excellent service and representation of Recruitment to internal, international and external stakeholders. Advanced interpersonal skills.
  • Collate information for reporting and budget preparation.
  • Prepare and complete documentation for billing and administrative tasks.
  • Undertake duties as assigned by the manager.
Minimum Requirements
  • Previous 3-years experience working as an inhouse recruiter within a company. Should have advanced knowledge of recruitment techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Quick learning ability to understands the needs of the company and ensures that only qualified candidates make it through to the final interview.
  • Knowledge of recruitment software, sources, channels and database systems.
  • Excellent decision-making skills. Critical thinking skills. Good organizational skills.
  • Experienced in conducting interviews over the phone and via live chat.
