Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative and organized Recreation Coordinator to manage and develop a diverse range of recreational activities and programs at our Centurion facilities. You will plan, promote, and execute events to engage the community and enhance Leisure & Sports offerings.

You will coordinate schedules, manage resources, supervise seasonal staff, liaise with schools and groups, and ensure programs are delivered safely, effectively, and with excellent member experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning, program coordination, or recreation management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse community members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with scheduling software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by program schedules.
• A background in Leisure Studies, Recreation, or Sports Management is preferred.
