Business Segment : Insurance & Asset Management

Location : ZA, GP, Roodepoort, Ellis Street

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring superior customer service delivery
  • Management of third-party and recovery claims with service providers
  • Achieving financial performance indicators
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Matric, must be FAIS compliant, computer literate, paralegal minimum qualification, LLB would be an advantage
Experience Required
  • Insurance: 5 years recovery, liabilities & legal experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and collate all supporting documentation on IMS for handover to the legal collection firm appointed
  • Analyse documentation to ensure information is current and complete
  • Handle incoming correspondence, telephonic enquiries, paid-up letters, and ad hoc queries from the legal collection firm as per SLA
  • Maintain registers (manual and electronic) reflecting the current status of each case
  • Liaise with attorney firms to obtain necessary documentation supporting SIL's claim from third parties
  • Address daily queries by liaising with relevant departments and providers
  • Escalate unresolved queries to management for timely decision-making
  • Maintain high ethical standards, meet timelines, and ensure data accuracy
  • Manage all bank and departmental records and oversee the outsourcing process in accordance with SLAs
  • Identify potential recovery and third-party claims and allocate them to panel attorneys
  • Conduct regular audits on panel attorneys' performance
  • Verify that all matters settled by lawyers are within the agreed mandate and escalate discrepancies to management
