We have an amazing opportunity for a Reconciliations Clerk (Payroll) to be based in Umhlanga, KZN. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate payroll reconciliations and related reporting whilst maintaining strict confidentiality standards.

You Bring

  1. 2 years accounting / related position experience.
A Bonus To Have

  1. Matric
  2. BCom degree / studying towards BCom
What You’ll Do For The Brand

  1. Perform reconciliations timeously and according to advised deadlines to ensure the correct and complete allocation of valid payroll transactions.
  2. Preparing reconciliations and related reports, including, but not limited to, the following:
    1. Salary control account recons
    2. Bank recons
    3. Provident fund recons
    4. AOD recons
    5. Staff debtor recons
    6. Holds recons
    7. Terminations recons
    8. EMP501 reconciliation reports
    9. IT14SD recons
    10. Reporting related to recons
    11. Ad hoc, variance and analysis reporting as required
    12. Preparing/processing/checking payroll journals and reconciling to payroll documents
  3. Work closely with the Finance department to research and resolve problems, perform scheduled activities, prepare and maintain accurate records.
  4. Provide support to line managers and the finance department with payroll reconciliation related concerns and queries.
  5. Perform other related duties and general admin as required.
