We have an exciting opportunity for a Reconciliations Clerk (Payroll) to join our team in Umhlanga, Durban. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate payroll reconciliations and related reporting while maintaining strict confidentiality standards.

You bring:

  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related position.

A bonus to have:

  • BCom degree or studying towards one.
  • Intermediate Excel experience.

What you’ll do for the brand:

  • Perform reconciliations promptly and according to deadlines to ensure correct allocation of payroll transactions.
  • Prepare reconciliations and related reports, including salary control accounts, bank reconciliations, provident fund reconciliations, AOD reconciliations, staff debtor reconciliations, holds, terminations, EMP501 reports, IT14SD reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Work closely with the Finance department to research and resolve issues, maintain accurate records, and support payroll reconciliation queries.
  • Perform other duties and general admin as required.
