We have an exciting opportunity for Reconciliation Clerks x 3 based in Umhlanga. Do you have what it takes to become our newest Purple Star?

The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying the validity of revenue, expenses, deposits, withdrawals (retail), and other transactions, while preventing misappropriation of company assets and fraudulent financial reporting.

You bring:

  • Completed matric with Mathematics and English.
  • Computer literacy.
  • 1 year of administration experience.

A bonus to have:

  • Degree/Diploma in a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Auditing declarations from branches on a regular basis.
  • Performing various reconciliations (TUV, Tote, Betman, banking, EFT, cheque, LPMS, ATM, credit card, Ithuba, manual transactions).
  • Auditing receivables and declarations/transactions related to retail.
  • Conducting cash counts, paperwork audits, and daily reconciliations.
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of tickets and master files.
  • Escalating shortages and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Performing stock and asset counts, including food, beverage, and vending stock.
  • Reconciliation of accounts and internal audit software entries.
  • Submitting timesheets and performing ad hoc assignments.
