Job summary

Vivo Energy in Cape Town seeks an experienced accounting professional to perform reconciliations and support month-end and year-end processes. You will ensure timely journal entries, daily bank activity, and SLA-compliant query handling while coordinating with stakeholders to maintain accurate records.

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting (NQF6) with 5 years of reconciliation experience and SAP FI proficiency; a degree (NQF7) is advantageous. Overtime may be required during close periods.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting (NQF Level 6) with at least 5 years of reconciliations experience.
• Experience using SAP FI for financial reconciliations.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on reconciling items.
• Execute month end and year end activities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Process journal entries accurately and timeously.
• Capture, reconcile and clear daily bank accounting transactions.
• Log and resolve queries within the set SLA.
• Monitor daily collections and follow up with stakeholders.
