Are you a meticulous reconciliation accountant with a passion for asset management

A leading financial services company is seeking a highly skilled Reconciliation Accountant with expertise in LISP and asset management . This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fastpaced regulatorydriven environment and has a deep understanding of investment products portfolio management and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Reconcile investment transactions including buy / sell trades dividend payments fund subscriptions / redemptions and corporate actions
• Ensure accurate portfolio valuation by reconciling asset classes such as equities bonds mutual funds derivatives and private equity
• Perform general ledger reconciliations prepare journal entries and assist with monthend and yearend closing processes
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies between internal records and external data sources
• Collaborate with finance operations and compliance teams to ensure seamless reconciliation processes
• Support audit processes by providing reconciled accounts and explanations for variances

Key Skills & Qualifications :

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• Proven experience in asset management fund accounting and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP) and accounting software such as SAP or DARA
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex reconciliation discrepancies
• Ability to manage multiple reconciliations while adhering to strict reporting deadlines
• Knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and regulatory requirements within asset management
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA would be an advantage
