Responsibilities
- Front Desk & Telephone Management
- Welcome visitors, clients, and service providers professionally
- Answer incoming calls, screen, and redirect as needed
- Receive and log mail, packages, and deliveries
- Keep the reception area tidy, welcoming, and organized
- Basic Administrative Support
- Manage meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for appointments
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and monitor reception email inbox
- Scan, print, bind, and file documents as needed
- Order and monitor office supplies and stationery
- Internal Assistance
- Assist admin or HR teams with simple tasks (e.g. onboarding, distributing internal documents)
- Relay urgent messages to relevant staff promptly
- Help coordinate small internal events (e.g. meetings, staff training)
- Visitor Access & Security
- Maintain a visitor logbook and issue
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) required
- 1–2 years of experience in reception or general office admin
- Professional appearance, strong service attitude, and positive demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Good command of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Punctual, discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information
