About The Job

  • We are looking for a professional, friendly, and well-organized Receptionist to manage front desk operations, greet visitors, and provide basic administrative support. The ideal candidate will be the face of the company, offering a warm and helpful first impression for all guests, clients, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Front Desk & Telephone Management
  • Welcome visitors, clients, and service providers professionally
  • Answer incoming calls, screen, and redirect as needed
  • Receive and log mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Keep the reception area tidy, welcoming, and organized
  • Basic Administrative Support
  • Manage meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for appointments
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail and monitor reception email inbox
  • Scan, print, bind, and file documents as needed
  • Order and monitor office supplies and stationery
  • Internal Assistance
  • Assist admin or HR teams with simple tasks (e.g. onboarding, distributing internal documents)
  • Relay urgent messages to relevant staff promptly
  • Help coordinate small internal events (e.g. meetings, staff training)
  • Visitor Access & Security
  • Maintain a visitor logbook and issue

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) required
  • 1–2 years of experience in reception or general office admin
  • Professional appearance, strong service attitude, and positive demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Good command of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Punctual, discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information
