Overview

Job title: Receptionist

Salary: R11 300/month

Location: Durban

Responsibilities
  • Manage the reception area – welcome visitors, handle incoming calls, and direct queries professionally
  • Perform general office administration including filing, data entry, and document control
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, couriers, mail)
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and related SAP entries
  • Assist with basic finance/admin tasks such as updating records, reconciling information, and supporting accounts team
  • Maintain office supplies, stationery, and general office organisation
  • Support management and team departments with admin tasks when required
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage calendars when needed
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, presentable, and aligned with company standard
Requirements
  • At least 2–3 years’ experience in a receptionist or office administrator role
  • Matric - beneficial
  • SAP experience is essential (especially for invoicing / admin processing)
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must be available to start urgently
  • Previous experience in a truck or car dealership environment will be an advantage
  • Computer literate (MS Office, email, admin systems)
  • Able to work under pressure, multitask, and manage a fast-paced reception environment
