Job description
Location: Cape Town

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our Cape Town branch in a permanent role within the recruitment industry. The successful candidate will not only manage the reception area and serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, but will also play a key role in supporting the recruitment team through accurate data capturing, candidate vetting, filing, and maintaining well-organised records.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in reception or administration (recruitment administration experience will be an advantage).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of isiXhosa will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the reception area, welcome visitors, and handle incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including data capturing, maintaining spreadsheets, and managing candidate lists.
  • Oversee candidate filing systems and document management.
  • Assist with vetting candidates and coordinating pre-employment checks.
  • Manage correspondence and emails, and schedule interviews and meetings.
  • Provide general office and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
