Correctly receives all deliveries to stores, and dispatches returns to vendors. Minimizes shrinkage risk at receiving doors. Responsible for stock disposal according to company policy and all administrative functions related to receiving procedures, including visitor/merchandiser entry control.

Minimum Requirements

2-3 years of produce retail experience

1-2 years of people/management experience

Ability to pass assessments at the required level

Success in at least 2 competency-based interviews

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and return goods systematically and accurately according to company policies
  • Conduct quality checks
  • Maintain cold chain integrity
  • Ensure hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards
  • Adhere to security procedures and assist with security at the back door
  • Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages
  • Complete all relevant documentation and administration
  • Operate equipment according to standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, customers, and suppliers
