Qualifications

Job description

MAIN PURPOSE
To ensure that all stores administrative daily tasks are carried out effectively without delays and receiving stock from suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving and checking all paperwork including spot checks on PO #, Bin Codes etc.
  • Receipting onto MRP System if all is in order, accurate and timeously
  • Ensure receipting is done in accordance with month-end deadlines
  • Ensure processes and procedures are followed including quality control.
  • Capturing all information on DigiSol Receiving system.
  • Reporting of rejected stock.
  • Ensure Rejected Stock is returned to Suppliers within 48 hours
  • Following up and monitoring of all queries
  • Ensuring all paperwork is handed into finance timeously.
  • Scanning and uploading invoices for record keeping
  • Ensure incoming stock for stakeholders is distributed accurately and on time (Areas).
  • Ensure receipted stock is transferred daily to the correct locations.
  • Ensure incoming stock is labelled accurately
  • Respond to all requests and queries timeously
  • Adhere to the FIFO Rule
  • Any other ad-hoc duties/tasks given
  • Ensure all filing is up to date
  • Workspace is kept neat and adhere to company housekeeping procedures
  • Raise any inventory concerns with management

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric
  • Higher Certificate in Supply Chain /Warehouse/ Materials Management or equivalent-National Diploma will be advantageous
  • Valid Drivers licence

Experience

  • 2-3 years’ experience within stores/warehouse function or in a similar role.

Competencies

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to work in a team, diligent, proactive, well-groomed, trustworthy, reliable, numerical and analytical skills
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Punctual
  • Physically fit
