Job description

Job Opportunity: Store Administrator

Main Purpose

To ensure that all store administrative daily tasks are carried out effectively without delays and that stock is received from suppliers efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receiving and checking all paperwork, including spot checks on PO #, Bin Codes, etc.
  2. Receipting onto the MRP System if all is in order, accurate, and timely.
  3. Ensuring receipting is done in accordance with month-end deadlines.
  4. Following processes and procedures, including quality control.
  5. Capturing all information on DigiSol Receiving system.
  6. Reporting rejected stock.
  7. Ensuring rejected stock is returned to suppliers within 48 hours.
  8. Following up and monitoring all queries.
  9. Ensuring all paperwork is handed into finance promptly.
  10. Scanning and uploading invoices for record keeping.
  11. Distributing incoming stock accurately and on time to stakeholders.
  12. Ensuring receipted stock is transferred daily to the correct locations.
  13. Labeling incoming stock accurately.
  14. Responding to all requests and queries promptly.
  15. Adhering to the FIFO rule.
  16. Performing any other ad-hoc duties/tasks as assigned.
  17. Keeping all filing up to date and maintaining a neat workspace in accordance with company housekeeping procedures.
  18. Raising any inventory concerns with management.
Qualifications & Minimum Requirements
  • Matric
  • Higher Certificate in Supply Chain, Warehouse, or Materials Management, or equivalent; National Diploma is advantageous.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 2-3 years' experience in stores, warehouse, or similar roles.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team, diligent, proactive, well-groomed, trustworthy, reliable.
  • Numerical and analytical skills.
  • Willing to work overtime.
  • Punctual and physically fit.
