Role Summary

The main responsibility of the Real Estate Manager is to manage, coordinate and support local markets in all real estate facility related matters including the implementation of sustainability, security, fire compliance and maintenance related projects.

Job Responsibilities


  • Regionally and locally manage and support Scania Real Estate Services projects, assignments and related activities in the region
  • Provide best quality and most optimal solution in balance with Scania demands and requirements, local business needs and financial situation
  • Secure that Scania’s functional requirements, demands, standards and strategies are applied
  • Plan, conduct and coordinate regional and local activities connected to the task and decided plans
  • Follow-up, coordinate and report results and deviations from standard and plans to local, regional and central organizations
  • Secure that all necessary related information and documentation is applied and prepared
  • Regionally and locally manage and support all security, surveillance and guarding assignments through outsourced partners and suppliers
  • Plan, conduct and coordinate regional and local activities connected to fire compliance, ensuring that Scania Global Policies on the same are fulfilled
  • Allocate, assign and plan local resources according to position and task
  • Continuously educate and inform about Real Estate in region
  • Continuously challenge, improve and develop the Real Estate set-up
  • Act with authority to Start, stop or put on-hold projects, assignments and activities connected to task above
  • Perform reviews and visits within the responsibility


Applicant must meet these minimum requirements:


  • Completed matric
  • Security, safety, fire related relevant qualification
  • Managerial and Leadership experience will be advantageous
  • Fluent in English
