Job Summary : A Training Academy Manager oversees the development and delivery of training programs within an organization or educational institution. They are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance employee skills and contribute to organizational success.
This role involves coordinating with various departments, evaluating training needs, and ensuring the academy's programs are of high quality and deliver measurable results.
5+ years of experience in training and development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools. Experience with ICT Specific Accreditation Computer-based Testing (Pearson VUE) and exam processes is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification in training or learning and development is preferred. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in training methodologies and instructional design. Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights.
May involve extended hours or occasional weekends depending on training schedules. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate and inspire others. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Adaptability to change and a proactive approach to learning.
