Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Management Consultant to lead engagements in Retail and Consumer Goods from Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. You will advise leading RCG firms on growth strategies, digital transformation, and supply chain optimization.

The role requires 7+ years in consulting, an MBA or related master’s degree, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to travel for client engagements across the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in management consulting or senior strategy roles.
• MBA, Marketing, Strategy, or related master’s degree.
• Proven track record leading complex strategic projects with measurable impact.
• Strong understanding of RCG value chain, consumer trends, digital commerce, and omni-channel strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence senior executives.
• Willingness to travel to client sites in Port Elizabeth/Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements in strategy, growth, digital transformation, and operational improvement within the RCG sector.
• Conduct market analysis, customer insights research, and competitive benchmarking for RCG clients.
• Develop strategic recommendations on market positioning, product innovation, channel strategy, and supply chain optimization.
• Manage client relationships at senior levels as trusted advisor.
• Oversee project teams and deliver high-quality analytics and client presentations.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities within the RCG client base.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants.
