Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Private Label Strategy & Execution: Define and drive the private label beauty strategy aligned with business goals and customer insights. Manage product lifecycle across beauty subcategories, build assortment frameworks, and balance innovation with customer-centric formulations.
  2. Product Development: Oversee product development calendar, collaborate on packaging and branding, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive sustainability initiatives.
  3. Supplier Management & Sourcing: Manage global supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with ethical standards.
  4. Commercial & KPI Management: Monitor sales, margins, and stock health; use insights to inform decisions and react to market trends.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments for cohesive launches and marketing strategies.
  6. Innovation & Trend Integration: Translate market trends into product concepts, conduct benchmarking, and lead innovation efforts.
  7. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the private label team, fostering a creative and accountable culture.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Buying, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in buying or merchandising, with 3+ years in private label beauty or personal care.
  • Experience in product development, sourcing, and understanding of industry regulations.
