Health and Safety responsibilities.

• Follow the company’s health and safety policies and procedures and instructions of the responsible supervisor and health and safety lead
• Report and highlighting all potential hazardous situations Unsafe Acts and Unsafe conditions relating to the shopfloor.
• Maintain housekeeping based on 5S and KAIZEN Methodology within the RMs storage locations
• Ensure safe working conditions are always maintained in the Warehouse
• Ensure availability of Raw material SDS to all warehouse staff and prevent hazardous release or accidental release and exposure of chemicals to staff
• Always ensure PPE compliance in the warehouse

Performance responsibilities.

• Maintain Raw materials and Packaging inventory status to ensure uninterrupted production plan and no lost sale.
• Responsible for all inbound RMs and PKG – Physically and real-time receipt in the System
• Inspection of RMs and PKG to ensure correct items are ordered and delivered
• Responsible for updating correct BOMs and ensuring they are used by production
• Ensure system inventory quantity matches the physical inventory for RMs and PKG
• Monitor inventory levels daily, to ensure NO understocking, overstocking and stock outs
• Ensure daily availability of materials and packaging for the planned production
• Ensure Materials are issued for use according to FIFO
• Liaise with Production management to ensure all used RMs are booked in the system in realtime
• Analyse RMs and PKG discrepancies and report to the Line manager and the Unit Manager
• Review and maintain all data correctly in appropriate systems
• Review sales forecasts and liaise with the Planning Manager to ensure all RMs and PKG are planned for and made available.
• Ensures that production uses the active and most economical formula(s) for production
• Liaise with Planning manager and Production manager to ensure materials are issued on time for use
• Responsible for non-stock purchase controls for production and warehouse departments.
• Manage all materials to ensure that production targets are met timely
• Review production outputs vs inputs and advising the Ops management on root cause and together with Production Manager provide solutions
• Ensure efficient collaboration and communication between relevant departments such Production, Planning and Warehouse
• Facilitate and oversee RMs and PKG cycle stock counts and perpetual counts
• Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the line manager

• Level 5 qualification/Diploma in Supply Chain and Warehouse
• At least 2 years’ experience in the warehouse coordinator/supervisor role
