Job description

This role is accountable for the management, execution, and support of Activations campaign management, including making sales, handling client complaints, collecting and analysing data, and improving the overall customer experience.

The individual will be responsible for achieving linked Activations targets/KPI’s through their respective projects.

The role involves supporting all In Store Print Media and Radio campaigns. As a coordinator, this individual will work with internal departments to ensure that clients’ needs are understood and satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the full end-to-end process for In Store Activations bookings from Activations Agencies, including:
  • Generate CEs off APEX and share with agencies
  • Upload Stores on APEX
  • Upload signed CE’s
  • Upload PO’s
  • Upload Booked Stores
  • Invoice and credit Activations Agencies
  • Send Store Letters to Stores and clients
  • Achieve linked Activations targets/KPI’s
  • Notify booked stores about upcoming activations 72 hours before the event
  • Share print campaign communication with stores regarding upcoming campaigns
  • Update billing sheets promptly after campaign concludes (by the Wednesday following)
  • Develop beneficial working relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Manage and lead campaigns with all stakeholders internally and externally

    Requirements:
    • Matric or Marketing Diploma; Bachelor’s degree advantageous
    • Minimum of 3 years relevant campaign management experience
    • Project management skills
    Technical Knowledge:
    • Ability to read and understand campaign briefs and meet requirements
    • Understanding of budgets
    • Operational execution via Business Management System
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email)
    Theoretical Knowledge:
    • Understanding of operational processes and execution
    • Financial acumen, including margin management
    • People management principles
    • Organisational behaviour principles
    • Excellent client management capabilities
